Anna Shamne, Piano
Anna Shamne, born in Kaliningrad, completed her studies at the Kaliningrad-Rachmaninov Music College as a pianist and organist (with honors), at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln in the organ class of Prof. Thierry Mechler (with honors) and at the Hochschule für Musik Detmold in the organ class of Prof. Tomasz Adam Nowak (with honors), second main instrument – piano. She is currently studying instrumental pedagogy at the Hochschule für Musik Detmold, second main instrument – harpsichord.
She is a laureate of the 8th International Organ Music Competition in Saint-Petersburg (Russia), diplomat of the International Piano Competition “Gradus ad Parnassum” in Kaunas (Lithuania) and finalist at the 6th International Organ Competition “Daniel Herz” (Italy).
Anna Shamne has taken part in master classes with Guy Bovet, Johann Trummer, Michael Radulescu, Daniel Zaretsky, Lionel Rogg, Harald Vogel and Olivier Latry.
She took part in the 2012 festival “Kultursommer Rheinland-Pfalz», the “International Organ Concerts” in Bonn-Beuel and has played in various concerts in Germany, France and Russia as a soloist.
Anna Shamne has played in the ensemble “Junge Philharmonie Köln” and has also performed as a soloist in the Kölner Philharmonie.
She has already gained experience as a piano teacher in Russia and Germany. Her students have had success with “Jugend Musiziert”, where they won among others first prize in the state competition and third prize in the national competition.
