Louisa Laurette de Queiroz dos Santos was born in Kreuztal in 1992 and received her first violin lessons at the age of five. She studied to become a teacher at the University of Siegen andlater transferred to the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen, where she studied instrumental pedagogy with Christian Styma. During her semester abroad at the University of Illinois in Chicagoshe received lessons from Prof. Rudolf Haken. She attended master classes with Prof. Megan Freivogel and Prof. Thomas Christian. Louisa de Queiroz is a member of various ensembles, such as the Camerata Instrumentale Siegen, La Tramontana (D\u00fcsseldorf\/San Quirico) and the Kammerphilharmonie Hamburg. These have taken her to the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg and the Rheingau Music Festival at Eberbach Monastery. During her studies, she taught at music schools in Kreuztal, Siegen, Olpe, Bochum, Essen and at Haldern Strings e.V. She currently teaches at the Rudolf Steiner School in Bochum-Langendreer and privately and now also at the Ida Bieler Music Academy.
